Presentation Advice

Hi all,

I hope the final push to Wednesday evening is going well.

We will have a couple of guests at the presentation. Just a few words of
advice:

1. Look the part: dress well, don't chew gum, be professional.

2. Practice, practice, practice. Don't try and memorize a script.
Practicing your deck will make you intimately familiar with it. Know the
2-3 things you want to say for each slide and remember these top level
points. This will prevent you from drawing a blank.

3. Believe in your work. You have all done amazing work. You have come a
long way from the beginning of the semester. Be confident in what you
are presenting and your audience will trust you.

4. Have fun with it. This is meant to be entertaining as well as
informative.

We will have a projector set up and a dedicated computer on it, as we
did last week.

Jon and I will order pizza for everyone, so don't worry about food /
dinner.

As for your final grade:

Please bring a CD with your presentation on it to hand in to Jon and I.
And that's it.

Good luck,
Lucas & Jon
